The EVP division serves the University as its fiscal, operational and strategic leader, and is reflected in the following categories: Financial Stewardship and Management Campus Development and Operations (including the Climate Action Plan), Economic Development and Neighborhood Initiatives Plan and Operational Efficiency.

It has 5 strategic priorities:

  1. 1 Exercise strong fiscal stewardship with measurable results by improving business processes and enhancing productivity.
  2. 2 Recruit, retain, and develop a talented and diverse workforce and prepare the next generation of University staff and leaders by creating opportunities for more value-added activities and supporting career development.
  3. 3 Deliver high-quality services to the campus community locally, nationally, and globally by proactively implementing operational improvements and enhancing infrastructure.
  4. 4 Plan and anticipate future change and organizational needs by strategically investing in initiatives which enhance the mission.
  5. 5 Protect Penn’s reputational, financial, physical and informational assets by proactively identifying potential risks and exposures before they become significant threats; and collaborate with stakeholders to help implement effective and efficient solutions.
